Whoever owned the house for the last 6 years decided that blue carpets would be just fantastic. Combine this with a collection of dark haired animals that liked to a) shed hair, and b) piss everywhere, you can imagine the state the carpets were in.
Thankfully the oak floors under the carpets were in pretty good state, except where said dog(s) had decided to target their pissing (carpet bombing?) in just one place. We removed most of the carpets and tack strips today.On carpet duty: Maurice, Davey and me
