New Arrivals

We are seeing both more year-round and migratory birds now spring is here. We saw a turkey a week ago wandering around - I'm wondering where my turkey fryer is... Finally got a picture of the cardinal that is nesting at the front of the house - we see the pair on a regular basis now.


This American goldfinch has shown up in the last week, along with a Baltimore oriole that I haven't managed to get a picture of yet.


Finally, a massive (relatively) Pileated woodpecker. When this bird goes at a tree, it sounds like a jack hammer (though I failed to catch that on the video).
